Micro Dairy

Wild Spaces Farm produces raw dairy from cows on our wild irrigated southern Idaho meadow. Our dairy is small by design. The cows are never confined and always have access to this wild place.

We partner with our cows to share milk. We believe the mothers should raise their calves. Sharing with the calf allows us to reduce our labor needs by only needing to milk once a day. We don't ask more than nature can provide, our moms are not fed high energy rations.

Sharing with the calf and leaving the cows to customize their natural diet on our wild meadow allows us to only milk once a day.

Our micro dairy is seasonal by design. Our cows and the farmers get a necessary break in the winter when the grass is not growing.

Our milk is not pasteurized. We operate under the Idaho Stated Department of Agriculture(ISDA) Dairy Bureau's raw milk permit.

All of our dairy products come in reusable glass bottles or jars. Customers pay a deposit for the glass container and after enjoying our raw dairy products return them empty and clean to any of our retail locations.
